I HATE how while I'm totally influenced by punk and ska....and my lip ring gets me tagged as the poster boy for emo at CU.
well...not so much anymore after that couple (the two that wear a different "How to write love on her arms" shirt every day of the week!) came to CU last year.

Piercings don't make you emo. I had a eyebrow ring for a while before I had to take it out. To be emo your hair needs to cover your eyes and you have to wear girl pants.

No to really show emo-like qualities you have the back of your hair cut really short in the back but let your bangs hang past your face. Most guys wear girls pants and eye liner.
