The Xbox 360 price drop hit all three console SKUs today. Not finding any sales onine, I picked mine up at Circuit City this morning. After sales tax (5% in MD and even worse in NC!) kicked my ass, I went back online to look again.

I promptly returned mine after I found some information which I thought I'd share:
  • Buy.com and Amazon offer free shipping (However with Amazon you have to sign up for a free trial of their "Amazon Prime" service)
  • Amazon has a bundle - Xbox 360 Elite + 2nd Controller for $488.98 (So compared to buying these two items in the store I still saved $30+)
  • The Premium Consoles are now being sold with a HDMI port (w/o the HDMI cable)
It was hard giving back that sweet sexy box this evening, but by friday I'll have another and enough cash to buy a game used. :)

There's a 360 on the NC State marketplace via Facebook for $360

Price of the Premium 360 on Amazon dropped an additional $20 today.

I agree with the news link, maybe making room in their inventory for HDMI Premiums??

Guys I know it is a little off-topic but the PS3 just went down $100. Now I am no fan of Sony over Microsoft but I think since Sony came to their senses Microsoft decided to screw with Sony's minds even more because they know that they are higher rated.

Microsoft is higher rated I mean. Just to clarify.
