come on man, you didn't get diamondhead in the picture! I'm disappointed.
Personally, I think Wakiki beach sucks; it's too crowded and it's full of designer stores. Oh Oahu, I'd rather be at North Shore.

yeah, i know, there is a wall just to the left of the frame it blocked a good part of diamondhead
I was only on Oahu for a day, went to Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Punchbowl, etc... great tour but I was not a big fan of that island in general. I stayed on Maui for 10 days, at Ka'anapali beach and it was amazing! I would reccomend to anyone visiting Hawaii to go to Oahu definatley, but stay on Maui.
Where did you stay? What all did you do? I'm excited to be able to talk to someone else who has been!

For the most part I've been on Maui(been there 4 times), but I stayed about a week on Oahu and a few days on Big Island. My dad is originally from Maui and my grandmother still lives there(Kahului), it's nice to be able to play tourist as well as act like one of the locals. On big island I'd avoid Kona because it's very tour-esty, and go to Hilo(where the famous tsunami hit in 1946).
Truely my favorite island is Maui, but each island offers such diversity. I highly recommend, if you get the chance, to visit as many islands as possible. Oh and taking a helicoper tour was amazing!

yeah, i did the helicopter tour with Blue Hawaiian, it was rediculous. Unfortunatley, it was cloudy so we couldnt really see into the craters on Haleakala. We also went diving at Molokini and Turtle Town on the Mahana Naia... I had a blast! I would kill to go back.

It's definitely a place where once you go you don't want to leave but it's just soo expensive over there.
