I'm pretty sure this is the same problem I've had a few times, I just booted up with the windows cd, booted int DOS mode, and I think just typed 'chkdsk' or something like that and let it to it's thing. Worked fine after that.

driver error.. usually a driver can get corrupt..
so you need to find a windows XP cd.. if you cant find one, i got one.. and try a reinstall WITHOUT formatting.
that way all your shit is on there.

If you can boot up to Windows, first thing to is go to start>run, type in sfc /scannow
