This came from a sticky picture machine in Japan..they have sticky pictures here, but nothing like in Japan. The camera was on the ceiling. Wild. And that is British ex-boyfriend, oh how times have changed since 10th grade.

Nope, my TV watching there was pretty limited. I did see some AWESOME vintage North Korean propaganda on the tube one morning in Tokyo. I took some short videos of it with my camera. The craziest part was when there were some Americans (played by North Korean actors) along with General McArthur (also North Korean) killed a little girl. She started playing a violin, to like try and touch their humanity or something, and McArthur looks moved for a second. Then he pulls out a pistol and shoots her, and some Americans chop ather with an ax. Right after that there's an inexplicable scene of people jumping over a moving car. I don't know if that's what they actually meant, or if it was supposed to symbolize the plight of the workering class in capitalist society, throwing themselves at the mercy of the machine.

HAH! I watched Iron Chef...without English dubbing! Muwahaha.
I lived off base (no american TV or radio) for two months with only half of our housing shipment (only necessities, like bedsheets and dishes and clothes)..and in those two months I saw such a variety of Japanese TV. Everything's a game show, talk show, or anime. I also watched the Simpsons and a variety of Bruce Willis movies in Japanese.
Ohhh, how sad it was.

I would kill to visit Japan. I really admire their school system and culture, and their technology. It also seems "the place to be" for teenaged girls, they have so much cute stuff and buying power!

I had quite the collection of dead educators. I call the 100yen and 300yen stores "Family and Friends Souveneir Stands". I've still got my analog alarm clock which says on the face: "Happy Life Creator". That little timepiece promised big, and I'm still waiting for it to deliver.
