My point? just because it grows in the ground and was put here by God doesnt mean we have to consume it.

but seriously, I dont have a problem w/people smoking pot I do have the following opinions
1. its your body do what you'd like, I would just like for people to know what they are putting in the their bodies and be responsible for their own actions and not place blame in other places. While pot is illegal and until it is legalized dont complain if you get sent to jail for doing something that is illegal.
2. Im not fooled by the "gateway drug" theory, people who smoke pot are more motivated to eat eight bags of cheetos not rob a bank for crack money
3. that shit stinks to high heaven. (my opinion remember)

Bad argument. Cocaine has to be made, marijuana does not. And all the others kill you, but aren't illegal. Marijuana does not kill you.

I don't smoke, nor have I ever, though I have done a paper on it for school.
Marijuana is actually good for you (can help you keep things down, settle your stomach, build an appetite, etc...).
The effects are sort of the same as alchohol (losing inhibitions, etc...)
But alcohol can actually kill you if you consume too much (Which really isn't all that much), marijuana won't do anything other than make you a burn out.
Alcoholics beat their wives, pot-heads only love.

nightshade = belladonna... manson gave it to his 'family' for "helter skelter". with belladonna you can trip for days at a time, and its so real to you that you don't even know you're tripping. actual people appear and speak with you for hours. manson wanted to put it in the water supply.
angel trumpets = datura = brugmansia... grows all over the world, including local backyards. you can make a tea from it... runs a good risk you'll go blind or die though
black lotus... never heard of, but i've smoked BLUE lotus
hemlock and buttercups are a bit less abused
and you left off nutmeg

hah. there was a pt in the All Children's Hospital OR when I was there for clinicals that had consumed 4 angel trumpets. I didn't work closely with him but he said he ate them because he likes to partake in risky behaviors. My preceptor told me his pupils would be fixed for a couple days and he looked nauseated and paranoid.
