damn dude, what happened to your mauser? someone chopped and modified that barrel, chopped your stock, and bent your bolt!

Ah, but looks are deceiving! You know I wouldn't buy something like this unless it was special ;-)The only chopped part is the stock. It's actually a very rare mauser. It's an FN 1924 cavalry carbine. All matching, and the bolt is supposed to be bent like that. I'm working on getting the correct stock for it right now. I picked it up for $100 out the door at a gunshow today.

ok the parkerizing and bent bolt threw me.
i had a FN 1950 from colombia, very similar cept for the strange sling mount on the side. it too was in 30-06. originally it was built in 7mm mauser then converted to .30-06 in the 50's as a police rifle. i sold it to get money to go toward a 1903.
100otd isnt bad.
i picked up an unissued MAS36 for $165 delivered, a lebel 1886/93 for $100 and a wz-88 tantal AK-74 for $500 within the last 4 weeks
also bought 3 cans so far of 5.45x39. you know the chosen one is going to ban that stuff.
