Yep, the uniform is the shiznit. Every now and then you get some people who drive by and flick you off because we went to war with Iraq. Like its the soldiers' fault that we went. Don't flick us off and clown on us. Clown on Bush. It wasn't our decision.

40/40, Expert. I just qualified last month. A1s are ok. A2 conserve ammo because they are not fully automatic.

40/40: Good shootin'. Yeah, A2's and A3's with the 3rnd burst are cool, but if I'm gonna drop $12,000 on a legal M-16, that bitch is either gonna be an A1, or a fully-auto M4. =) 3rnd burst isn't worth 12g's, IMHO.

True that! Especially since you aren't really worried about conserving ammo during a fire fight. Its probably well worth the 12gs too. I personally wouldn't buy one because I am issued one and its a hassle because when I do have it, I have to have it by my side everywhere I go.

where is that at? camp blanding? looks like where we go to qualify. i hate going there, cleaning weapons after and shat. but ive never been flicked off...been flashed at and waved at tons of times..dunno what you must be doing to the people driving by

Yes that was camp blanding. It was about the start of the war when all of this was happening. I could be driving minding my own business from drill and someone will hang out his window and flick me and a fellow friend off. I did nothing to these people. Of course I do get a lot of thank yous and stuff. Never been flashed.
