^my buddy bought a replica remington1858 army for $100 2 days ago, ver y similar to the colt.  a real colt SAA will run you anywhere from $900 to well over $10k.  truly unique pieces with things like factory engraving or traced histories can fetch over $50k pretty readily.

a dumb chinese whore can bring $5 or more.

i think when that quote was written, that may have been true, but there are many more revolutionary designs out there that are much more effective in combat.  the colt saa was an innovation in its time, just like eniac, the pocket calculator, and the commodore 64.
