Sweeeet. I just bought a Sovtek MIG-100h 100watts of puuuuure Russian tube tone. The only effects I use are a Boss compression pedal and an old ass VOX spring reverb.

Im actually going to sell off that pre/power amp combo. Im getting a THD Bi-Valve, they are hand built and take any type of tube + they auto re-bias to the tube requirments..It is a smaller amp head. It is only 30W, but sounds hotter than two rats fucking in a wool sock in an attic on the 4th of july. Plus it has small dimesions so it will fit in my rack. I like the sound of smaller amps better so..

Sov. amps are soo under-rated!...they are so good, and so so cheap. It is a carbon copy of the old JMP Marshalls. I considered getting a Mig-50, which is a rip off of the bassman. Not a surprise that it's a russian company...
Effects: (Im a noise freak)
Ibanez Lo-Fi, Dunlop Custom Dimebag Wah, Ibanez Phaser, Ibanez Chorus/Flange, Moog Ring Modulator(it was originally for Synthesizers), Line 6 Echo Pro. And everything is controlled from a MIDI control board.
.....and a Electro-Harmonix 1970s Big Muff

You know Colby, I was thinking, it probabkly wouldn't be too bad to ship your rig, if you did it by boat.

after seeing Chicago International Baggage handlers at their best...I would not even consider the idea

That's airport baggage, not international freight.

exactly...Freight is five step lower on the shit ladder than Air Baggage...And considering Air Baggage's already low position, That would place Freight somewhere in hell...

What kind of cab/speaker combo do you play through? Also, where does your signal originate? I see no axe!

Not at all Colby, you put it in a container and ship it. They can't be throwing that shit around because it weighs too fucking much. They have to move that stuff around with forklifts.

I play an LTD Steph Carpenter Model, with Seymour Duncan pickups; and I play into a Marshall 4x12" with 75w Celectrons. How I have it set, the guitar sits up on the cab, and I have it on the other side of the room as the amps. So my back is to the cab as I play and In facing the rack.Thats the way I gig too.
