Haha. It is kind of a freaky sport. It's ridiculous what some people do to thier bodies. They actually sprayed PAM all over us (so we'd look shiney) before we went on stage. Not to mention, how we painted our bodies with darkening stuff the night before...

This was in 2002. I run everyday, but I only trained about 2 weeks for the show (hence the small arms). Most of it was the DIET (sort of like the Adkins)! It was hell trying to stick to it.
Being a cheerleader def has it's advantages for doing a fitness show. Go for it!
