We were/are in a student apartment so its only 1k a month... but you can get other places that are small for about 1500 give or take. Keep in mind those dont include any utilities.
You thinking about moving?

I'd like to live in a huge city some day. I'm not sure whether I'd like to live in New York, though.
$1,500 sounds like a crazy amount of money to pay for a small apartment, though.

The living expenses in new york are fucking rediculous. You get paid more though too, but I don't think it evens out as much as it does here. If you look really hard I am sure you can get down to 1,300.

How big is an apartment of $1500 though? I don't want to live in some closet. Well, actually, I wouldn't mind it too much, but I don't want to live in a room that doesn't have a bathroom.

You'll have a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, closet space, your bedroom will also be your living room... all of this is usually seperated so it isnt just all blobbed together.
