Oh hellll nawwwww. I am no Pam Oliver. I'd personally like to rise above the whole "I'm a girl, I've never played the game before, the best I can do is be a pretty sideline reporter and let you know whenever there's an injury and that's it." My dream is to be in the booth with Troy Aikman, Phil Simms, Joe Buck, or Chris Myers. Not John Madden...I'd cry, throw up, or become suicidal. lol

You don't like john madden??? You mean you actually understand that an interception is bad and that a touchdown is good? But John explains that so incredibly, you'd think people didn't already know

LOL yeah...and I know what screen passes and slant routes and nickle defenses are....and I understand what the terms "good pad level" and "pocket presence" mean and their significance to their respective positions, and that good centers are hard to come by even though NFL scouts are sooooo convinced they can teach any offensive lineman that position (hah!) which is why John Wade is still the starting center for the Bucs even though he's getting....well...old. So basically, I'm not a Pam Oliver

No offense to you, I wish you the best. However, if I turn on a NFL football game and there is a female commentator in the booth doing the color or God forbid calling the play-by-play; I'm turning it off.
With all the professional players retiring and going on to becoming commentators and sports personalities, I think it would be INCREDIBLY difficult for a woman to get into the booth, even if she spent 90% of her career reporting from the sideline. No amount of affirmative action will ever put a woman above a former player when it comes to calling the games.

^Yea, pretty much. Dreaming big is good, but sometimes shit is just impossable.
It would have to take the hottest, smartest, toughest, tomboyish, awesome, big tittied woman to ever walk the earth in order to even have a chance to sit in an NFL booth.
