This was my knee a week after I had ACL surgery my senior year.

letsbusto	i finished my rehab in 3 weeks, dr. said it was 90% as strong it was going to be. i was back to running and weightlifting(squating) within 2 months. Tuesday, March 8, 2005 6:24 AM

buhdungadung	man, I just had a similar surgery...and my scar isnt nearly as big, thank god. Therapy is taking too damn long, though. I need to invest in some ankle weights. le sigh Tuesday, March 8, 2005 11:57 AM
Brugger	To be honest, that looks like the scar of a total knee replacement rather than an ACL repair. Why didn't they elect to do it arthroscopically? Tuesday, March 8, 2005 5:51 PM
letsbusto	does it cost much more than regular orthopidic? because I didn't have any money to pay for it the two football insurance companies bailed out and started saying I only get 2k from both of them together. the dr. that did it cut his price down a lot and did it for almost nothing, but someone else ended up paying him for me. and i had to get other people to help pay for the actual hospital bill which i heard was around 30k Tuesday, March 8, 2005 7:13 PM
