Hmm... Ruger Mark II, 1911, Makarov (or CZ-52)... Not bad guns...

I sure-as-fuck hope those guns aren't loaded, though. If so: the peg through the trigger guard is a BAAADDDD idea.

tsk tsk. I wouldn't be caught with a single one of those.

Obviously, you don't understand that you can blow up tanks with a 1911.

none of these are mine. they belong to my uncle who lives down in sarasota. and none of them are loaded.

and why wouldn't you want to be caught with any of these?

I stand corrected, John. That is a Walther of some sorts. You knowledge reigns supreme, yet again. =)

Talking about that, my buddy Grahamux just got a Walther PP from WWII. Nice piece, I must say. 32ACP and all.

Gangster: The 1911 is one of the greatest handguns on the planet. Don't hate, mang. And the Mark II is a great target gun as well! I have one from 1952 that, with open sights, can put 'em inside of 1.5" at 50 yards, if you can shoot that good.

Now that my CWP application is on it's way, I've gotta start pricing out Makarovs. Good little Concealed Carry guns...

Or someone that likes quick target aquisition at 100 yards.

(and I reply 1 year, 11 days later. =) )

you'll laugh, will, but there's guys out there who can put the rounds through the 10-ring with a .22 pistol, at 100 yards, all day long...

of course caliber choice changes as distance increases...

What about a mag of .308 through the 10 ring at 200 yards?

When I get my M-14, we can try that out.

my korean war M1D garand sniper is the 2nd one from the right. i picked off a film cannister at 175 yds with it, no prob.

i'll probably hunt for some older war models as above, but mostly newer rifles. if things go right, i may think about being a swat sniper at some point.

My dad has a ruger with an 18" barrel and a scope, he got it a partial payment for a deck that he built. It's a lot of fun to shoot, I almost considered getting him an attachable stock

gangsterofboats - You don't like 1911 clones at all? I can understand preferring one over the other. But to "not be caught" with one is a different story. They may not be your favorite, but they don't exactly suck either.
