I heard that sometimes people just pick up the bikes, throw them in the bed of a pickup, and that's how they steal some of them...

mikeyb

yup thats the way most of the assholes that steal um do it....but they are all starting to get cought one by one little shits

That really pisses me off when people steal your stuff.
I had my car stolen from Willow Brooke Apartments on 42nd Street.
Three days later they found it. Trashed.

And then the insurance company decided to fix it up. Damn i wish they drove that car right into the ocean.
Was never the same after that. Finally traded it this year for my Jeep.

Good idea to replace that other pipe....it was fucking HIDEOUS! Nothing against you, I just hate how they come with that pipe. Anywho, looks good now! I think I saw you come into Motorsports today when I was working. You were checking out parts but I didn't say anything.

indeed, cut the hands off...

That's a sweet bike, i must admit! Pipe or not, it rocks!!!

I think it's a funny contrast between the Hummer and the Bike... One guzzles gas and the other doesn't. Find yourself riding the bike more than driving!??!?!

it was stolen from in front of my apt on BBD, i had a disc lock on it and a dead battery, so they werent riding it anywhere.

the cops dont know anything.

i have insurance, but its a crapshoot as to what they think the bike is worth, i had a ton of aftermarket shit on it from engine work, to suspension, to exhaust. what sux is i have a $1k deductible.

i miss my friend.

krystal-yea i was in there, you should have said something to me i didnt see you. yea i love the pipe...old one was pretty bad

yea i ride the biek more then anything for the fact of riding and also the gas prices are outragous now a days.

where do you live in BBD? You have to keep it in a garage....locks dont mean shit with the dumbass's riding around stealing the bikes! Im up on BBD as well and i have a garage i would never leave it out and i hope they find it...you dont ever again. goodluck hope it all works out

Yeah, naming the apartment complex would be handy since I have a bike pretty nearby there!

with bikes they just pick them up and throw them in the back of a pickup truck. then rip them apart and put differnt parts everywhere. fuel pump wont really matter

Wednesday, May 11, 2005 9:55 PM

i DID stop a guy from stealing my last car with a 12ga. unfortunately i wasnt up at the time this asshole happened to come by.

i had a heavy duty kryptonite lock thru the brake disc, but they just picked up the bike and toted it away.

it was stolen from ascott place apts. unfortunately, there is no garage option. i think ill wait another 6 mo or so when i buy a house to buy another bike.

goddamn thieves piss me off, you work so hard for something and they just take it. dammit i wish i could have caught them......

Thursday, May 12, 2005 5:53 AM

Krystle Burger

damn, you had a Kryptonite chain on there? no shit, those are pretty tough....you didnt have it chained to anything though?

Thursday, May 12, 2005 6:38 AM

nope not chained to anything. dead battery, kryptonite ev disc lock, and steering lock dont do any good when they just pick it up.

going thru all the insurance stuff now.

Aw. Same thing happened to a friend's brother. The cops eventually found it in a gazillion pieces.
