I had a friend that drove those trams for 6 months or so. He pretty much saw people do every stupid thing you could think of (i think it was the only perk to the job). Yahhyyy for drinking all day in the sun!

The problem is, Budweiser gives you free samples. But you are only supposed to have one or two. I learned that you can go back as many times as you want and they will never remember. At least not until you are piss drunk for free....

I guess the dude was drunk, and unbalanced, because at the moment, it didnt look like he did much damage.....he was fat too, I think that contributed to the actual ankle break. o ya and busch gardens is the best college job you could ever get, especially the location, its a mile from our school man

Cedar point is the roller coaster capital of the world, and is the best amusement park ever created. It has every type of rollercoaster you could ask for.

I hear that to work somewhere, you have to fill out and submit an application.

Perhaps Matt has superpowers to where he doesn't need to fill out a stack of applications?

Ok Ok Santoro....besides a strip club bouncer. What are you talking about? Have you worked there before? And if you have what department?

I don't have to work there to know that place is not the best place to work of all time. Anywhere that pays you under 10/hr to drive a bus and a wear a yellow polo/stupid jungle shirt is not the best place to work......

Actually, working at Busch Gardens has tons of perks. Free case of beer a month, free passes into the park, free admission for yourself into all their parks plus IoA/Universal (and employee discount for tickets for friends), discounts at other places around Florida, tuition reimbursement, plus ride readmits if you work in Ops and pocket 'em.

You'll notice decent pay isn't anywhere up there.

minimum wage is up to 6.50, so it shouldnt be all that bad!

I work there, make 8.75 and commission, and I still hate it....

well maybe you are not as enthusiastic about amusement parks as I am and thats the main reason I work there. If I was in it for the money, I would definitley be working somewhere else, but I like socializing with people and working in an amusement park atmosphere. If I make more money at another job and hate what I do, then what is the point? Furthermore I probably have more job security then you will ever have in a college job and I get a ton of perks for myself and my friends and family. I know people that work there and hate it because they cant stand people, so they sit around on their ass doing nothing and whine about it, so why dont they quit? There is going to be problems anywhere you work, but you just have to suck it up and live through them, and there is no better place to have work then Busch Gardens...unless of course you live in orlando, then Universal would be the place to be...or in Ohio...then Cedar Point..basically any amusment park except for sea world(boring) I have fun at work and thats all that counts for me, so I'd appreciate it if you got off my back about it. see swanks comments for perks.

I worked at Kumba for two years. I was making something like $6.30 an hour at the end of that. I mean, if they're raising wages, it's only because they legally have to. I had a really bad experience with the office when I quit, they told me to go out to my car to get my parking sticker, when I came back with it they had cut my ID up and wouldn't give me my annual passes because I didn't have a valid ID. Way to treat your employees, Busch Gardens.

I like working at Busch Gardens. I work at Rhino Rally and I'm making 7.50/hr and i've only been there for 1 year. It's true, you have to enjoy talking to people to enjoy working there... plus, you see people do some stupid crap which is always fun.

Somehow I doubt this. I own my own business, so I control my own fate. And Busch Gardens could fire you at anytime, so don't get it twisted. In your mind it may be the best job, which I guess is all that matters. But the truth is, it just isn't.....

I didnt mean more security than "you" in particular I just ment in general...but since you do own your own company that does make since...and it is not the best job in "your" opinion.
