pffft, racerjas983 is right... I mean, had this guy been responsible and took racing classes and courses, this wouldn't have happened. I mean they did wonders for Dale Earnhardt. If only the wall had taken a course.

actually, I think youre right. Im pretty sure the automaker would be proud that a person who rolled over in a CONVERTIBLE that they made didnt die becaus the headrests they designed to support the weight of the vehicle actually did their job.

The windshield that is supposed to protect the occupants, sure did fold like a wet sheet of newspaper.

^ But it also didn't shatter, which would have been a pretty gruesome thing to encounter in your face.

1. the windshield frame is not built to support the weight of a vehicle if it rolls over
2. ALL convertible mustangs (or convertibles for that matter) should have funtional roll bars IMHO

If the car pulls itself back together, then we all have a problem.

^^^ windshields have been built not to shatter for decades. it takes a very sharp, focused pressure to break chunks out of them. they're covered in some sort of material that holds them together when they fracture.

^ It is called laminated glass. It is acually 2 sheets of glass held together by a sort of glue in the middle.
