It's only irritating when they just do it to get girls. If they're doing it for (what I think are) better reasons, like health/sports, then I like it.
It's just like when girls act out just to get attention from guys. People do similar things for different reasons.

Well at any rate I realized I have an unfair negative bias towards very athletic men, and it's time for me to let that go. I wouldn't have judged a really skinny guy and tried to read into reasons why he is that way. Sometimes I don't know wtf I am thinking or where I get certain ideas.
