its not about the color of the eye at all. its about the emotions that the eye conveys. how open the eyelid is, how straightforward the look is directed, how dilated the pupil is, makeup on the eye, focus, etc. in this picture, its seems as if you are, but you are not looking directly into the lens. personally, and you can or can not take offense, i think its a pretty vacant look. it seems as if you arent really sure when the picture is going to be taken, and aren't really thinking about anything other than that, save maybe hoping that the picture is going to turn out well.
