Im "guessing" an aston martin (guessing mind you)

Friday, December 31, 2004 4:55 AM

I'm guessing a Lotus.

'05 Lotus Elise.

~shakes head~ aston martin, tsk tsk.

Aston Martin would never make anything that "unorthodox" (read: ugly).

Mmmmm.... fast car..

Friday, December 31, 2004 5:48 AM

it photographs a little gaudy but it's smooth-looking in person. But hey, to each his own. (what do you drive?)

Friday, December 31, 2004 5:49 AM

Okrbot23

Thats why I said "guess mind you" im not into exotic euros. im more of a doully fan.

Friday, December 31, 2004 6:20 AM

yummy247

This car is way cheaper than an aston martin anyways. What's a doully?

Friday, December 31, 2004 6:32 AM

GangsterOfBoats

I'm "guessing" that is the batmobile parked next to the lotus.

Friday, December 31, 2004 6:51 AM

yummy247

haha, that's what i call the lotus. The boat is a restored 1959 Glasspar, it's just a puddle-jumper but it's very James Bond-looking.

Friday, December 31, 2004 7:22 AM

Okrbot23

Big old trucks on big old wheels, doullies

Friday, December 31, 2004 7:58 AM

KTJeffries

They're not so smooth looking in person, I dont think. I miss the days of the esprit, a REAL lotus.

Friday, December 31, 2004 10:27 AM

I doubt you've seen one in person. Your white trash aura automaticaly repels anything not made in the states, so even if you saw one in a parking lot and wanted a closer look at it, you'd be magnetically drawn to the broke-down Taurus three slots away instead.

I hope that was provoked by somthn other than his comment... otherwise your a bitch...

Friday, December 31, 2004 2:06 PM

mmm well, it's both. but ~sniff~ i thought it was funny... and besides, ~points finger~ he threw the first punch.

Ivyspice is extremely jealous, hence the snotty opinion, and isn't it spelled duallies, as in dual wheels on each side of the axle?

Friday, December 31, 2004 10:04 PM

taters and maters.

What the fuck? Some bitch that doesnt even know me just called me white trash AND questioned my taste in cars? Sorry, but I dont think you're in the position to question my opinions on Lotus, or most any other British or European car.

Saturday, January 1, 2005 12:17 AM

yummy247

I didn't say you were white trash, I said you had a white trash aura. And no, I don't know you so why shouldn't I question your taste in cars? It doesn't match my own therefore it must be flawed.

lol, she liked my truck and my brothers BMW so she MUST have good taste...she even commented on them...yummy247 is just a little feisty but cool.

Well, I think you have the aura of a mutilated vagina.

LOL @ Mutilated Vagina...you know some neosporin would help that greatly...apply two times a day as needed and rub in a clockwise motion until climax...oh wait, that was the "astroglide: for her" instructions, here we go... "until vaginal scarring is reduced." Good luck with the mutilated Vagina!

you're going to put my comment, an actual opinion about the car, on the same level as incoherent yammering about mutilated vaginas?

those cars are surprisingly slow. I raced one coming through Tennessee one day and it didn't couldn't even keep up with me while I confined myself to 3rd gear. I think that the top speed on those things is something like 124.

I prefer the Lotus Esprit Turbo V8

^A couple of my friends had those back in NJ, they're a lot of fun.
Also, during my time in Europe, I had the opportunity to drive another friend's which was certainly a blast.

Is it possible to have sex with a car? Cause I want to...

Saturday, September 10, 2005 3:05 AM

Yes, I've heard its a psychological concent called Auto-fixation where people are sexually attracted to their cars. LOL
To which car were you referring- the Esprit or the Elise?

Saturday, September 10, 2005 3:07 AM

BMack

it's lightweight and has a Celica engine, it's nothing special. waaay overpriced, for a bunch of crap

But it looks hot!

Saturday, September 10, 2005 3:09 AM

I think the top speed's 160 or so, we've had this one up to 140 on the skyway. They're not exceptionally fast unless you soup them up, he upgraded the exhaust system which helps. It sounds like a race car now

Once you've been in/driven an Espirit, the Elise seems like the baby in the Lotus family. lol

Personally, I wouldn't buy an Elise as I feel that there are tons of better choices. People in the USA who purchase an Elise tend to be those who are craving attention (as Lotus is not a very common brand in the USA and thus some consider it 'elite' or 'exotic') and want an exotic-looking car at a minimal price. I feel its like buying a discount version of an exotic car and then trying to act like you own a *real* one.

The Elise IS the baby...
They are soo small inside. When I drove one, it reminded me of a go cart for some reason.

I'm not talking crap about the car... just saying they are small.

Saturday, September 10, 2005 3:37 AM

KingPin

^LOL...the Elise does have that GoCart-esque look and feel to it when seen/experienced in person.

...see my edit/addition to my post above regarding purchasing an Elise.

^^ Yeah, it's kind of Barbie-sized. You only sit a few inches off the ground.

^^^ That's not too far off base, but what's wrong with that? No one's pretending, it's still an import even if it isn't the biggest and fastest. I prefer BMW's myself, but to each his own.

^"its still an import"...ummm...every car that isn't domestic is an import, but that dosen't ncessarily mean it is anything special. A Civic is an "import", but that doesn't mean its an exotic. LOL

...well, one good thing about the Elise is that at least it is an import (as I passionately dislike American cars).

Regarding your edited post... as long as its realized that it is *not* an exotic- mainly just a cute little European car that is not much more than a futuristic-looking go-cart, and quite a tool for those seeking attention.
